Any leads on a new or used one, or a cheap DS2 with a serviceable mast, please let me know. Thanks!

How handy are you? Complete mast w/o rigging is $929, extrusion only is $598.

I made a new mast for my Catalina 36 by purchasing the extrusion and moving the hardware over. The only tough part was sourcing the high-strength, SS rivets, and then buying a puller big enough for the job.

Rig-rite can supply that extrusion, too, or build you a mast.

Will, where are you located? I may have a mast for your DSII that you could have for almost nothing. I'm not POSITIVE that it actually goes to a DSII, but when I got my DSII it came with two masts. The one on my boat now has a tabernacle which is great for me because I trailer the boat. The "spare" mast I have is under my deck right now and I can measure it and take pics of it for you to make sure it is a correct fit for your boat. I live near Syracuse NY. I am going to sell my DSII this summer because I'm moving to Colorado next year and don't really need two masts to sell the boat. Let me know, Luke
No, Cape Cod Shipbuilding makes their own masts and booms. D&R Marine sells new DWYER spars for the O'DAYs, but not cheap unfortunately (shipping is the real killer!) I'd say check Dwyer themselves, but they are now in Bristol, RI so shipping will still get $$$. I'll echo the idea of contacting the DSA, there are often used masts available there.

I checked with both D&R and Dwyer, and Dwyer sells them for less, which makes sense. Still, I can ill afford to pay that much right now. So I will hold out hope of finding a good used one and check out the DSA.
