Hey, All!
Has anybody heard of a 24 ft FREEDOM ULTRA 1979 ???
I can't seem to find any info.
All I know - it's a fixed keel (shoal) 24 ft cruiser made in 1979.
It looks good on pix but I can't find any history or any reviews/opinions/PROs/CONs on it.
The reason I'm asking is I want to possibly purchase one to upgrade from a swing keel 22 ft Mac.

Freedom 25 ?

I don't know about a 24 but here is a listing for a 25 fixer upper.
For Sale: 84 FREEDOM 25 cat boat/ wing mast, yanmar 1 gm diesel, solid hull and deck, sails and rigging in good condition, binimi, dual axle trailer, interior has been gutted and reconfigured. Renovation needs to be completed. $2,500 or OBO.

Freedom Ultra 24 apparently has a sloop rig (not a cat)
What do you mean by solod deck...is it solid fiberglass and not a "sandwich of glass/balsa/glass???
What is their reputation?...did Freedom Yachts completely got away from making sailboats to making powerboats?

I thought that you may have found a Nonsuch as they have both classic and Ultra models,but,they are cat rigged not sloop as you mentioned in your last post....all the Freedom models that I have seen have been cat rigged as well. Best of luck Regards Ian Fisher
