Has anyone used one of those digital to analog converters on a TV system with a Shakespeare "ufo" style antenna? I know I've read about using "digital" antennas. Just wondering what the results would be using the antenna I already have.
Thanks

There is no such thing as a 'digital' antenna.. any standard TV antenna will work just fine, even the old and proven rabbit ears. So, yes, your existing antenna will work without any problems.

I think the trouble poeple were having with the shakespeare anntennas not getting a digital signal was due the the amplifiers. I had to get rid of some cable tv amps when we got digital cable, internet wouldn't pass thru them either. I have a new shakespeare antenna and it picks up digital tv really well, and the closest tower is 30 miles away.
