Must be a right coast thing because I don't see anything special other than loose dock lines...

Leslie got it. 3/8 chain and clear tubing ought to keep this boat safe during a blow.

Ron we haven't gone back to Marsh Harbor. Sorry, I have no control once we get on land. That was a different kinda boat.

It is.. the power to keep it on the shore.. no wandering allowed. Trouble is you do that to one of your kids and they'll lock you up...

Ericson 29 Southport..
A buddy of mine, when he's docked downtown overnight will put a lock and chain on his. That way the drunks hanging out on the docks at night will not untie him in the fast Wilmywood currents..

that boat is flying the Bahamian courtesy flag. -so guessing Nassau, or some out island.

there is a HUGE theft problem with fast twin powered open fish boats. smugglers, or just chopshops going after the engines.

its actually hurting the economy 'cause a lot of SoFla boaters don't want to cross and risk the theft.

Usually targeted are Yamaha engines for some reason.

there was a lot of talk putting a smart keyfob like cars now have... unintended consequences are probably the reason its not been done by mfgs.

btw, a dewalt 5 1/4 circular saw and a metal wheel, plus a wet sponge makes quick work of that chain... many actually pull the wheel and props.

-still some are towed away.

smart money puts in a satellite tracking system... but the monthly fees are not low.

Looks more to me like the guy who installed the radar didn't get paid and had a marshall put a lien on the boat. HE locked it to the dock to keep the owner from taking off on him. Is there some paper posted somewhere on the console?

Sonny Crockett on Miami Vice had the best security on his boat of any I've seen. Three cheers for "Elvis"!
