Securing the companionway on Hunter 376

How do you secure the companionway on a Hunter 376?

There are two vertical plexiglas panels and a sliding horizontal panel of wood over plexiglas. It appears there may have been a hasp, as there are some holes on the top vertical panel and wood piece.

I'm thinking to screw or bolt a new hasp onto the panels.

Yes, there is a hasp on my 40.5 which is otherwise as you describe.

Edwin, that's exactly what was there. If you go online to the West Marine catalog, look for part #7219561. It's 3" x 1-1/8" and their price is $29.99. Otherwise, hit any home supply store like Home Depot. I'm sure there's something on St. Croix - if not, there's a Home Depot in Bayamon, PR (just outside of San Juan).
