I have been wondering since the purchase of my H22, what the purpose of the slide out panel under the port side bench is designed for. ThanksPaul

I have wondered what that was for as well. The only thing I can think of is possibly some type of ballast tank may have gone there to compensate for weight of the outboard and fuel tank both being on the same side. Does anybody else have any ideas or maybe have an optional part from Hunter that goes there?

I think what your referring to is the same on Pearson boats. The board makes the berth wider to sleep on. Not that much wider. I have a 22 and I find it is getting to be a little to small for me and my family so I am trading up to a 27 Hunter, I am very happy with the way the Hunters handle and the space and comfort they provide. I hope i was of some help. Have fun on the water.
