Secondary Fuel Filter Mistake - M25-XPB diesel

My yanmar 2gm20 had a manual lift pump that worked reasonably well depending on the position of the cam lobe that operated it. My current m25xpc does not have a manual lift pump so I either let it bleed itself or I use the manual pump on my racor to get the fuel flowing. The original electric fuel pump on my m25xpc had a broken mounting bracket so I replaced the whole unit with the recommended electronic unit. Works great.

When I installed a new fuel pump on our M25XPB I used a spade connector on the hot side. I can unplug it and hold it against the hot stud on the breaker by the pump to manually run the pump (red cover at bottom right of photo).
