I have a 2003 hunter 386 and am trying to figure where I could put a second 4d battery I have an inverter under the port seat in the main salon and air and a hot water heater on the starboard side, so I have no space in those two obvious spots. I also discovered a leak that seems to be coming in from behind the rub rail. Has anyone wlse had this problem and what is the fix?

Currious - Why 4D vice Golf Cart?
Ken - just wondering why you want to go with a 4D instead of a pair of golf carts? One big advantage of going the golf cart route is that they would be easier to lug up and down the companion way. The 4D can be a real back-buster. There's nothing like LOTS of amper-hours!

Golf Cart Batteries
I removed the 4D battery and installed 4 golf cart batteries, doubled my amp hrs. I had to move the battery chargers dividing partition aft, still have a True Charge 40 charger in there. So I still have room to install air if I want to under the Stb settee forward of the gally sink. This is the useual place for additional battery storage I believe when no air installed.
