We're looking to install a second house battery on our Oday 26. Has anyone else done this? Where was the best location? We're thinking of putting it under the companionway steps or under the quarter berth. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I only have one battery. I would not put second battery under steps. Under quarter berth is possiblity. or build platform and glass to hull next to existing battery.
Use the two stringers as attaching supports for base or platform and put next to bulkhead.
