Seaworthiness and CE marking !

Anyone know where i can get info on the old French seworthiness marking of boats? I would also like to know more about the new "CE" marking!

If you go to the website below and click on a model and then on the specifications, it comes up and describres what each category is.

IMCI Boat Design Category

You can download a copy of the directive that defines the boat design categories from the link below. The summary of the categories is on page 39. The CE mark is issued by the International Marine Certification Institute.
