Seatalk cables

I want to make my oun Seatalk cables.
Does anyone know for sure what size the connectors are.
I am thinking they are .125 pushons, but could they be 3/16"

I have one of the 3-way hubs and a cable here, and they mic at 1/8. Be gentle when you push them onto the males.

Unfortunatly they are aranged in an arc and have a propriatary plug. so while you could certianly make a wire loom the cable end would have to be a Rube Goldburg affair with either goop or epoxy.

The plug is not needed. There was way too much wire in my nav pod, so I took out the Seatalk cables and bridges and did what the OP is trying to do.

Well OK, I'd think you would want to at least squirt in a slug of silicon into the plug hole after wiring to keep accidental movement of the wires from causing a short. you could alternatly shrink wrap each wire.

I ordered a bag of 100 of the .125 push ons for like $5 or so on ebay, and they work, but they are a TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT fit. I called Raymarine, and they sold me a set, I think there were about 8 or 10 in the package, but by the time you figured in postage and all, it came to about $20. But they fit better. The guy I talked to said they got them from the UK, so they might actually be measured in millimeters. .125 inch just happens to be the closest American measurement.
