The Velcro fittings that attach the seat backs in my boat cabin need replacement. These seat backs are covered with a vinyl backing. The Velcro instructions say "not recommended for use with flexible vinyl". What is the problem and/or solution here??

Are you talking about the sticky-back velcro? I think what you want is the velcro that is designed to be sewn on or glued, and to then glue it to the seat cushion. At least that is what I did. Now I am having some problem locating that type of velcro. I suspect I can order it directly, tho. Rick D.

Plastic Disks
Rick/Neil: There are plastic disks with the hooks on them. The other side (loops) are sewn on the fabric.
