Holy smokes, this is my first full season with my 22, bought it in September, and man I had no idea how much work and money I have put into this boat. When I saw the boat for the first time I saw the boat I figured I would shop vac it, get some new blocks, a good buff and the baby would be as good as new. Man was I wrong. Paint, epoxy, sandpaper, caulk, and the list goes on. Is anyone as worn out as me? I am hoping that next year the work load won't be as time consuming and or expensive. Ahh the growing pains of boating. It will start paying off when I put her in the water tomorrow am.

Same here

I acquired my 23 last year and quickly made some necessary repairs to get it in the water by mid June. What goes around comes around and I've spent the last few months tending to all those (other) things I postponed last year. All is completed and we delivered it to the marina last weekend where she now sits awaiting a bottom job. The previous owner(s) didn't keep up with normal maintenance and continued to slop paint on the hull without the proper prep. So, now it's being taken down the the gel coat and done properly. I would expect that we will no longer be burdened with the amount of work we completed this year and will be relegated to performing general maintenance from here on out. Good Luck!
