Seasmoke went for about 30K in 1959 dollars. Kettenburgs were not cheap yachts. My Knutson 35 yawl went for 31,500 in 1961. Quality cost....

Forty four were built. At least twenty eight are still around that I know of, including hull number one, which we recently restored.

Before the end of this month, we're going to tack temp decking on the old girl and kick her outside. Can't afford to tie up the building with her.
