We have a solid buyer for Seasmoke, the K-40 we rescued back in December. The couple
from New Zealand plan to cruise the PNW after we finish restoring the boat completely
for a few months, before heading South and eventually to the South Pacific.

In case you forgot, here is Seasmoke as she looks now.

one more

We're chomping at the bit to get started on this old girl while we sprint down the homestretch on Lady J.

I want to see the "after" pics. She has great lines. Is the spar wood?

Great!

I hope her history helped sell her and that it will keep her in fresh paint & varnish (and good frames) in the future! Good for you in saving this piece of sailing history. Besides, a K40 is worth the effort.

higgs, repowering is not in the budget. We'll keep the strong running Nissan/Chrysler 75 in there for now.

Lady J is a bit ratty at thhe moment and not ready for a photo shoot. Soon though, soon. The Seasmoke deal just fell through...

So sorry to hear that the deal didn't go down.....I'm a firm believer in "one door close's and another door opens"
