Search called off for missing yacht

The issue with the 40.7 life raft placement is that it is stored under the helm seat. Once the yacht is upside down getting the blooming thing out would be very difficult.

Is there any location on the 40.7 where a life raft could be stowed, or should be stowed, that if the boat suddenly turtled in rough seas it could still be deployed, either manually or by hydrostatic pressure release?

Beneteaus are more than their fair share of boats, largest manufacturer in the world.
Lots of their boats have done lots of sea miles in some pretty bad conditions. This failure is unusual, but it would be sure nice to understand what went on.
