Question:

Is it safe to leave the fuel tank in the cockpit all day exposed to the hot sun? Should the vent be left open?

Bill, I leave one on the back of my truck, day and night. BIG time in the sun. And, I leave the vent open, simply because of the fuel expansion. So far, I've never had a drop of water in it, I THINK it may be kind of designed that way.

Well, that's good to hear. I can't completely close the vent cap anyway. It's stripped out just like the last one. I gotta stop hogging down on them.
