Wind Song

Hello, Our 05 hunter has a white seal that is torn. It is near the bow on the hull. It looks like it should be the Knot meter. Except there is no wheel. There are two sensors one on the port and one on Starboard. Both of them have a tinted glass over them. Does anyone know how big of a job it is to replace the seal? Also our antifowl paint has not been completed and has some clumps of felt scattered. Any suggestions? Dealer is going to address situation.

The transducers......

..... may simply be the plugs that come with the boat, and not the actual transducer. They simply plug in and plug out with a screw top.

One too many

What does the dealer say about your observatons?Sounds like one cavity too many! I cannot remember seeing this seal on my (2004) H33. In any case your hull is under warranty so you should not have to do anything to it to ensure its integrity. I think we got our boat from the same place, so I am not surprised at the state of the anti-fouling application. Mine was a rough job too!

Depth and Speed

Look under the floor there should be a transducer to replace the plug. These can also be switched back and forth when the boat is in water so the paddle wheel does not get fouled when not being used. The other one is for the depth sounder
