Looked at the boat

Went over and took a look at that boat. Turns out it is two blocks from my house.It is a pretty nice boat, and basically from what I could see, just needs a little TLC. Most of the teak is ready for some cleaning, and maybe some varnish. Has a Universal, fresh water cooled diesel.Cushions look pretty good. I did see what appears to be a repair on a bulkhead under a chainplate, so that needs to be investigated. The rub rail damage appears to me minor as he stated. Two places on the port side about 1 foot long, but no visible fiberglass damage to the hull/deck joint. No electronics, but it does have air cond. and a microwave. Not sure where you are

but I have sailed on a couple of old Cherubini Hunter 33s - very good sailors and ideal size for your family. Of course, as you well know, it's all about condition. Seadance, but the price seems low for that boat. And it looks a little sparse inside. But who knows, it could be a true winner. Hope you get a thumbs up on your second offer for the other boat. Good luck.
