Morning:

The project is a Maine Sail style seacock install using the Alternate Backing Plate Method and tapping in silicone bronze studs.

The question involves using West System Six10 as bedding for the 1/2" G10 backing plate.

The Six10 is called gap filling and the inside of the hull is flat enough that the biggest gap appears to be less than 1/8" of an inch

The question "Can Six10 be used to bed a plate with a 1/8" gap in the middle where the hull curves?

The product is billed as " gap-filling structural epoxy bonds tenaciously to wood, metals, fiberglass and concrete"

yes it can as a matter of fact that is a good choice just dont be stingy with it in other words use it liberally enough so you have good ooze out and then clean up the ooze out around the perimeter making a fillet around the edges
