Sea names

So, while I was in San Diego last week, my hotel was right next to a marina. I had plenty of time to look at the boats, and noticed how many of them have the word Sea in their name. I thought of a few that haven't been used yet, and their likely owners.

Sea-Caucus (mayor from New Jersey)
Sea-Ment (Jimmy Hoffa's bodyguard)
Sea-Fardic (Spanish rabbi)
Sea-Mantic (philosophy professor)
Sea-Moyid (dog breeder)
Sea-Rated (knife sharpener)
Sea-Scinct (efficiency expert)

Ok, I'll play...one of my favorites was on a Hunter 36 Vision, the ones with the round freestanding mast...it was called "No Strings Attached".

I am always amazed at how many "wind" names there are. Wind dancer, Wind Seeker, Summer Wind, etc.

My favourite was supposedly the guy's family: C (short for something, Anne, Emily, and himself. The result: C-Ann-Em-and-Me (say it fast! )

A boat in our marina was named Boat and had a big bar code on the side.
A psychiatrist called his boat Prozac. He said that that's what paid for it.

dream weaver is owned by Bob Weaver in our marina. Sea Men is sometimes seen. Whisper is common.

I think the best boat name I saw was in Lake Union in Seattle on a sailboat and it was named, "Never Again II". Seems to speak to a lot of us in sailing.

The name is on the transom and split by the swim ladder with the po port below.
If I give her a one word name, how do I place it on the transom?

I much more prefer the classic old names for sailboats- Endeavor, Reliance, and some of the more Race oriented ones like Defender, Notorious. My current favourite for sailboat- L'Attitude.

I first sailed on a Chrysler 26 my friends ex-Navy Father named AMIIGAF in a similar vein.

My boat, Triple Play, was the 333rd 9.2A by its HIN.
