Scupper Hose Access?

Im looking for suggestions on how best to access the scupper drain hose under the cockpit on my ODay 222. Approaching from battery cubbie seems impossible and the only way! Jim

I used to have the 22, not sure if it's the same as the 222, but the cockpit locker wat the only way in.
