However ........................

Column on far right is "done".
....................... the "to do" lists on the left always grow faster than the "done" list on the right.

This is referred to as unsustainable.

I gave up keeping lists like that. The projects on the go keep forcing me to clean up the garage.

To paraphrase Roy Scheider, you're going to need a bigger boat! (Just to make room for the post-its!)

My Simplified Plan

I use a 7" x 5" spiral notebook. It's big enough to make "field" sketches, material lists & step by step procedures...........THEN,

I have sticky notes on many of the pages. The First three pages contain a list of "Projects" in order of priority..............THEN,

These THEN take me to other lists for on most boat projects, there are those "Hidden side Projects" that rear their ugly heads but, you never discover these until right in the middle of the initial project you FIRST started.........THEN,

These "Side projects" take me to even more "Spinoff lists including sketches, material lists & more sticky notes".................THEN,

These additional sketches, material lists & more sticky notes lead me to my PC for sketches, material lists, install directions, CAD mechanical/electrical diagrams, PDF's, JPEGS, downloads & more electronic sticky notes on my PC in a "Boat" folder complete with sub-folders, on other specific projects and.............THEN,

AND SO ON & SO ON & SO ON & SO ON.............

ANY QUESTIONS THUS FAR?
