Was just wondering how many fellow mariners sent in $30 to sails4free, and recieved no product. I don't think it takes 9 months to ship a sail.

I had them send me a main cover last year and got it in a reasonable time. I did email them and got a pleasant response and result. I've heard they are swamped with requests now and have stopped the offer. You should contact them and see what's up. Maybe they're just backlogged.

I knew the guy
The guy who was doing the sails for free thing kept his boat in my little marina. He was friendly, seemed like a decent fellow, he used to keep an eye on my boat for me. But I haven't seen him around for the last few months and his boat is got a fouled bottom, so something happened.
