Screw size for bale on boom

Hi all,
2001 mark2. Was sailing this weekend and one of the machine screws holding the bale to the aft end of the boom worked loose and flew off into the lake. This is the bale to which the outhaul attaches and also the topping lift. I meant to remove the screw from the other side and bring it home with me so I could find a matching screw, but of course I forgot.

I live 2 hours away from the boat, so I just thought I'd ask if anyone happens to know what size screw this is?

From my experience, most of the SS screws for the the boom and mast fittings are #10-24 of varying lengths depending on what fitting it is securing. This thread size is also prevalent on the Catalina 22 for screws that are drilled and tapped into the mast and boom. No guarantees, but that's my best guess.
