The screens on the window over the fridge and in the head need to be replaced. I’m not sure how to do it, hopefully it’s as easy as taking off the inside trim and I don’t need to break the seal on the plexi windows. See pics
They are removable from the inside after you open then. I did replace them, it was with some normal screen replacements material. They also can be ordered from cataline direct.
Ooow, that’s what I was hoping for. Did you remove the screws and the whole inside came off? And was there a round rubber ‘gasket’ that fits into a slot to keep the screen in place?
Thanks in advance
Cheers

Those opening ports are Beckson Raindrain. Just open the port, carefully pull out the rubber gasket (its slotted into the frame) that holds the screen in place and that's it. The screen has sort of a molded-in plastic perimeter. You might be able to find some way to glue or attach new screen to the old edge, but its probably easier to order new screens from Beckson.
I ordered these from Catalina Direct along with some maintenance stuff and they plugged in seamlessly on Saturday and look great. My repaired ones where just cracking and falling apart and it was nice to just have an easy repair.
2 Old Pirates, sorry for the late response….
Yes, have been many times, and probably will stop by mid-August during our 3 week Lake Ontario cruise. I met you once at QCYC, have you moved?
Cheers
New screens came yesterday, installed today just like mentioned above. Open window, remove gasket and old screen, clean everything, install screen and gasket. Thanks for above info.
Cheers

We have moved over to ABYC since 2019 ....... Love over here. 5 mins to the club ........ what a difference it is compared to trying to get to QCYC which is just a nightmare.
Let me know when your over. I'm on several lake cruises this summer.

Well, I pulled in this morning, almost across from your boat. It looks great, leaving in the morning though, on an extended cruise, not always knowing where we’ll end up. Cheers
