When I started inventorying my new 260 I discovered that Hunter does not give you a screen for the forward hatch, like the nice one for the aft hatch. They also don't have a nice way to put a screen on the main companionway (hatch). Here in the wet North West the bugs will eat you or you'll sweat to death without screens at night. So I set about designing screens for both hatches. I got a lot of help from members of the sailing club I belong to, SYSCO (Small Yacht Sailing Club of Oregon) and ended up with a set of screens I'm very happy with. I've added a picture of the finished companionway screen and a link to my personal sailing web site, Northstarsailing, where I give a detailed description of the two screen projects with lots of photos. I'll be adding descriptions of other projects as I get them finished and photographed.
