You can buy 2 part (white?) gelcoat repair kits from a marine store - we sell it!
If you go to a Macgregor dealer the current white gelcoat may be a match for your old 21 footer. If it's not, it's not easy to match but with care you can get close.

Scott, We owner a MacGregor several years ago and wrestled with the same issue. I did some gelcoat repairs and the cracks came right back. It is just a manufacturers issue and finally I gave up and just sailed the boat. I suppose it depends on how bad they are and how bad they bother you. Chuck
