Schaeffer clutch # 71-62 spring

My boat came with double line Schaeffer clutches, model # 71-62 as original equipment. One of the springs has broken and I've been unable to find a replacement since Schaeffer is now out of the clutch business and has no replacement parts. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Try the automotive clutch shops or industrial and truck shops as clutch discs and center sections are very common and replacement discs can be found or built.
