SBO Gathering at Pirates Cove in Galesville MD?

I was reading Roger's latest post today on the FC Forum and came upon what appears to be word of a gathering of some SBO folks on Saturday November 12 at Pirates Cove in Galesville MD.

I am going to be in the Annapolis area from November 10th to the 14th and if you all are meeting up I want to be there too.

Can someone confirm or deny this rumor?

Pirate's Cove in Galesville is a great place. I would try to be there if there is any truth to this wonderful rumor...

I haven't heard anything yet and I hope Roger chimes in but I am thinking later in the afternoon-maybe closer to cocktail hour? Then perhaps who ever wants to can stay for dinner too and whatever other revels the evening might bring.

I'm sure what you refer to is the Singles on Sailboats Blue Lips cruise to Galesville the 5th and 6th. I know there are at least 4 of our members on this forum. I had offered Roger some Annapolis-area support, but JIMM asked him to come join SOS for Saturday night. The last I heard, Roger said he'd try, but no guarantee. Sailors don't have schedules, remember?

Teri Lyn and Valinor are 2 SBO/SOS boats that will be in slips in Pirates Cove for the night. Do stop by and say hi!

I had it confirmed by Roger this morning that he is planning his visit to Galesville for this coming Saturday, November 5.

I would still like to know though if any other SBO forumites might want to meet up either November 10, 11 or 12. It doesn't have to be Galesville-it could be Annapolis or Eastport or wherever-I just think it would be a fun thing to do. Let me know if you are interested.

If anything comes together for Annapollis/Eastport for next weekend Annie and i might be able to make it. Since you seem to be becoming our out-of -town Organizer/Instigator, I`ll keep an eye on this thread. Sorry we missed you guys and Roger if Pirates Cove did occur,(Stupid Job!!) we`ve been there, great place. The West River Sailing Club is there, home of the Chesapeake 20`s, near and dear to my heart
