satana s20 rudder damage

Ahoy, I am going to look at a Santana S20 that the owner has told me has rudder damage. How likely is it that if the rudder has hit something hard that there will be additional damage where the rudder attaches to the boat? Thanks for any help,Yeto

good luck

See how bad the damage is. Rudder should rotate easily, not bind and have no slop. Look at area where rudder post comes up thru deck. Check keel.
