Please consider giving me some items on the list below. Note that I have been very good this year just to remind you:
I helped the powerboater off Marblehead that lost his engine avoid the Haste Rocks until towboat came.
I didn't hurt anybody on the Eloise when they fouled my anchor in Boothbay harbor
I helped anyone coming into a slip that I had occasion to.
I introduced 3 new people to sailing.
I put in Granny bars for my wife's safety (should get extra points for this)
I only cussed once when she let the main halyard ride up.
So given this good behavior Santa Please Please consider giving me:
An electric halyard winch You know I am getting pretty old and getting the main (as well as other things) up is getting difficult.
New cockpit cushions
an 8 ft port-a-boat and a torquedo
That's it Santa. If you can find your way to help me out I promise that I will be even better next year You can even come sail with me next summer (no elves though I heard they sink and drink too much)

We were very good this year. We did not run over any of the small screaming organic masses that were dumped right in front of us from the blow up couches being towed by party barges this year, and the small arms were not used to irritate the jet skis who seem intent on using the mooring field as a personal slalom course, and you would be particularly proud of the restraint that was used at the launch ramp, although that is always a significant challenge. Oh, and Ronnie did not shoot the potato gun at anybody, even though it was on the boat. So with that, if I wasn't good enough to warrant a shiny new (to me) 2005 or better 320 without in mast furling, a nice rum cake will suffice.
