I have a sans electric treatments system. It has worked well up until a few months ago. Then I started getting a prolonged treatment light. I cleaned it with acid and it got somewhat better but now it is getting bad again. I acid washed it again twice and it seemed to get a little better but now, a month later, it is now doing it again and I sometimes get an incomplete treatment light. Do you have any suggestions? Should I just clean it again? Thanks

I THINK you mean you have a Lectra/San

There are several possible explanations: 1. the electrodes are bad and will have to be replaced. 2. You've used household chemical toilet bowls cleaners, which is a BIG no-no because they damage the electrodes. 3. You're not in the same waters you were in previously. Salt content in sea water varies considerably with location and temperature. It may be necessary to either add salt by pouting it down the toilet...the simpler solution would be to install a salt feed tank. Calcium carbonate content in sea water also varies with location and temperature...it's much higher and buildup requires more frequent cleaning in warm waters--FL and the tropics. If you've exhausted all the possibilities in the trouble-shooting guide in the manual, and since you've cleaned the electrodes (I'm assuming that you DID follow the directions in the owners manual), I suggest you contact Raritan tech support, and that you talk only to Vic Willman on Monday. 800-352-5630 x 2.
