Does anyone have any information about how the Eastern Shore of the Upper Chesapeake Bay made out in the storm? Can't find anything on the news or the net?
I've checked Tolchester Marina just north and see there was a 5' surge last night, over the normal high tide but it occured after the highest wind speeds (out of the west) and is down to +4 about now and the winds are light.. Try www.tidesonline.nos.noaa.gov to get winds tides and temperature at nearby stations.
Friends rode it out aboard their Hunter 50 in Haven Harbor. She also said the tide was very high (about 4.5 ft above normal), but the power is on and all is well.
