Sand Hole in Port Jefferson?

Heading out to Port Jeff next week. Is the sand hole a good place to anchor? Cannot tell the depths from the charts.

Sorry, you're probably already on the hook out there in Port Jeff by now, but we anchored just west of the inlet to Port Jefferson Harbor last year and it was fine for anchoring, swimming and such. Not sure where the "sand hole" is located, but the areas east and west of the inlet are both designated anchorages, well protected and with depths that are easy for anchoring...mostly mud if I recall correctly...Enjoy...Fair Winds, Jim
