My wife and I are going to San Diego to look at a few Hunter 460 and 466 sailboats this weekend. We expect to make an offer after looking at some of the candidate boats. I wondered if anyone had a Surveyor they would recommend that is competent on these boats?

I bought my 2000 Hunter 420 in 2001...still have it. I bought it through H&S at Marina Cortez, now reorganized as Cruising Yachts, still at Marina Cortez on Harbor Island. H&S recommended my surveyor. Also I'd recommend Steve Hoffman (619-226-2566, 619-990-1409) at Shelter Island Boat Yard as someone who would have a good handle on surveyors.
