San Diego Canvas Referral/Help

Its time to replace my dodger canvas on my 1998 Hunter H376. I am SURE that someone out there has a referral for me in the San Diego area?? I'll probably get the mainsail cover on this site, but the dodger needs someone local. (also anyone to avoid?)

Hello there,

I have a woman who has done canvas work for me in in the past. Her work is acceptable at reasonable prices= (ok not a perfect recommendation but she is affordable and she works hard to do what you need). Her name is Erica Roesli @ 619-651-6861.

Had an absolutely amazing canvas woman before Erica but when she showed up to deliver the last piece she had her great granddaughter with her (who looked to be about 5 years old) and I knew I wouldn't be able to keep her for much longer. Anyway f you give Erica a call I'm sure she will help you out.

I suggest that you get references for exactly what you are looking for. A lot of people can make canvas, but not many can do dodgers.

A properly made dodger should be tight as a drum when complete. Everyone has different expectations so buyer beware.

You are SO RIGHT Steve. A sail bag/cover is one thing. But when I look at my current dodger, which is tight as a drum, I was thinking whoever made this one in '98 was good. I bought the boat in 2002, so the dodger is 14 yrs old. Still looks good, but zippers are going, leather trim is failing, eisen glass etc. Its time.
