salvage yards?

does anyone know of salvage (junk) yards for boats in the New England area? or even marinas that cut-up or dispose of boats, you see them on the west coast and down south, I love to putter around auotmotive yards (I know it sounds weird) and was wondering if the same exists for boats.just couriousRichJ

I thought there was one in Kingston R.I. but don't remember the name.there is one on Long Island (Offshore magazine had a article recently) call Anything Marine, don't know anything about it on a first hand knowledge. Check related link. Good Lick !
