You could start by looking for fasteners

32 years ago they were not simply glueing the windows in. Sometimes there is a snap on trim that covers the fasteners. Unless the frame is damaged you ought to be able to clean everything up and rebed it. If the glass is cloudy an auto motive glass shop can cut and fit a new piece. Just start gently poking around the window and see what you find.

Thanks

The inside window frame is popriveted into place. Do you think if I remove the inside frame the window may be able to be pushed in, cleaned and rebedded into place?

Steve, If you drill out the rivets then you can

remove the inside frame and see what is under it and what it is riveted to. If you are careful you can always put everything back as you found it. The thing to do is proceed slowly and figure out how they put it all together. You still have two months before it is warm enough to go sailing anyway. Keep comming back as you have questions. Pop-rivets with a 1/4 inch head usually are inserted in a 1/8 inch hole.

Thanks Ross! It sounds as though I just need to be careful and it is possible to fix my leak.
