The knob on my sailstop has twisted off, with most of the screw part still in the mast. And, of course, the stainless curved plate fell into the deep blue! Does anyone know of a solution. I have already purchased the generic west marine screw type sailstop, that goes in the slot, but I would prefer one that lets the slides bunch down to the boom instead of to the location of the sailstop.
