S2 8.0 EAGLE MOUNTAIN LAKE,FORT WORTH,TX
Hey guys, new to forum. Just bought a 1978 S2, 8.0B. Need to ask you guys about the best place to buy a mainsail. Mine seems to have a few tears. Might be able to patch, but still need your opinions. BTW I am at Eagle Mountain Lake in Fort Worth,TX.

Try Bacon's or Minnie's too. P (luff) is 26.10 and E (boom length) is 9.0. I guessed to plug numbers in (you MUST check your sail...don't take my guestimate as a done deal) and found a few for around $500.

All the S 2's usually came standard with North Sails as ours did. They are the best sails made. Yours might be worn out after 34 years, but get the opinion of a sail loft if it can be patched & repaired rather then replaced first. It will save you some bucks that I'm sure could go to other places on a boat of that vintage.
