Sails for 66 Tempest

The old girl has now been totally refurbished and is enjoying a winter rest.

I now need to find a main and genoa to complete the job.

Can anyone direct me to good used sails for this beauty?

There are a bunch of internet used sail warehouses - if you know your I, P, E and J sail dimensions, then you can search their data bases for sails that are close matches, which could then be modified at your local sailmaker. It is unlikely that you will find used sails that were cut specifically for the Tempest, but that's ok. Sails are modified all the time.

btw, I love the Tempest. A great looking and great sailing boat.

could you "cc" me on that email. I have a 65 tempest. The sails are in fair to ok condition. I am having a sail loft look at them to wash them. Minor stitiching is included in the price, and I curious to have a couple of other price quotes for the main and the Genoas. I don't think i'm ready for the spinnaker yet!
