Sigh. Some can't help yourselves

Isn't it ironic. Those that START the political rantings are usually the ones that can't help themsleves. They drag themselves down and people on this board since they have no self control. (This is probably hard for many of you because I can see the ranting veins popping up in the collective heads - But the truth of this statement is apparent) Sounds like a theme going on here - Look in the mirror Phil & Alan you really need to control yourselves I know you post over there on the "Bilge" err, I mean the sails call lounge. You should really keep it over there. You are ruining the sailing board. ps. Please note That I never made a political statement whatsoever just the statement about everyone thinks their source and information is pure and unbiased....LOL There are some on here that expressed definitive political statements and positions Look in the mirrors - and take your biased politics elsewhere

Brave Bill

Bill Roosa from Maryland has given us some excellent advice on this thread on a variety of subjects like electrical without a hint of malice towards anyone, and with debates, like failings of Hunters, he has been a reasonable voice (poor fellow owns a Hunter;-) and what I've seen he is an all-round good guy. Regardless of our opinions of the war, and I am one who believes it a mistake, our soldiers do not have a choice and go into a surripticious battle with a disguised enemy, not knowing who is friend or foe. They are there to defend Democracy and the very best way of life in this world, and we should back them up in their quest without reservation. Good luck Bill, we all wish you well, and hope you can get online sometime to continue in volunteering your sound advice. We are honored to have your voice here.

Not a bad try, Stu ...

People will find their way there if they are inclined. It seems to me that the dialogue over in Sails Call Lounge has been diverse AND mostly friendly. Maybe even a little friendlier that it can be in here when people disagree. It doesn't hurt to move over and get into some different topics. It also doesn't hurt at all to mix it up with people you disagree with. After all, it is just conversation and it's only a forum. Last I checked, there were no roadside bombs to kill you over there. Was the Calypso thread really moved over to Sails Call simply for a pretty mild hint of a political statement? I could agree with the sentiment (even if my politics may be different) and was glad to be reminded of some very good music. For those of you who put that forum down, I will politely suggest that you don't like the forum because opening your mind is maybe a little too painful. ;)
