The 2011 Sailrite catalog came in the mail today. With 256 pages, I'm sure it is the largest one ever. There are lots of new & larger pictures so you can see their products in use alot clearer. Now they carry clothing.

Just got the new MONSTER Jamestown Distributors catalogue .... probably killed an entire tree per catalogue. Almost a large as an old Sears Catalogue. Also got the new Northern Tool catalogue ... equally enlarged.

Love Sailrite. Keep their catalog on the boat for when anchored out, cuz when home use their website. Their live chat help is great.

I think that there are more sailors that are doing it themselves when it comes to the sewing and repair on their boats. People in this economy are more willing to take the time and save some money because boat budgets are tighter!

I will get some things from sailrite for convenience and the rest I buy from craft or sewing stores.

Yes and ML made a list of everything she wants. Members of the local quilt group stopped by and there was quite a bit of discussion on my intentions. With the boat sitting at the end of the driveway I would think it's pretty clear.

My Defender catalog came it. Also a thick one. Wish I could buy one of each item.

I got a whole drawer of blank checks I just need to stay out of trouble for two weeks and I could write a few. BTW I was really fooled by the crab cakes, no frosting.

Annapolis store closing?

I was just talking with Dan, who runs the Annapolis/Eastport Sailrite store. He told me this a month ago but asked that I keep it under my hat until the home office makes it public, and it has done so on their online forum: The lease on the Eastport store will NOT be renewed, so as of this time, the store will close. MY GUESS is they'll keep it open through the boat shows in October?
