...in apparently good weather, good visibility etc. Why wouldn't they spot the boat or any floating debris/wreckage etc.? Of course, they're searching over 16000 sq miles.
For a second there, I thought they were looking for me. A maveric, Mr Gray, a software developer, sailing single handedly, is lost at sea. It's almost as if I'm reading my future I hope he is ok.
for this. Perhaps he was abducted by the competition. Clive Cussler can probably shed some light on the matter. In the meantime I do hope that they find him and his boat unharmed.
and perhaps did not think someone would be waiting for him. The boat is a 40ft vessel, the weather was good, he has 40 years of sailing experience, the boat had an EPIRB which had not activated and the boat has not been found. Chances are he is OK and lets hope he is.
that look like bad boy Franklin. Sounds quite tragic though if its true. I think you all covered the rest of the bases except the emotional one. Maybe he was overcome by saying goodbye to his mom one last time. The question is where is the boat unless he scuttled it too or a whale did by accident. I hope Benny is right and he had a nice dinner with some friends up the coast.I am afraid that I dont have the heart to make any jokes about this just yet so sorry Franklin.
