I don't remember how long age but I would guess 5 years,
Sailnet as a business foundered. It was a buzz here that many paid for things they didn't recieve. When they opened the doors again, I e-mailed asking if they were going to make good on the orders that were not filled. They said no. Before they foundered I bought 70% of my new stuff from them. Once they reorganized I was not impressed and never went back.
Sailboat Owners (this site) has been a solid site for ... is it 10 years? They have developed their Chandlery over the years at reasonable prices and this great dialog from good people that I enjoy.
