I've just found out that I will be in SF for a very short time, but have almost all day Monday for sightseeing. (That's THIS Monday!!!!!) Does anyone know of companies that do sailboat tours of the bay? Can't afford a charter, and would prefer to be on a sailboat. Help!! Thanks, Faith

We were in san Francicso afew years ago. They have boats that will take you out under the Golden Gate and around Alatraz for $10 a person. Didn't see anyone doing it with sailboats.

Faith, We might be able to help out. We need to get the boat out for awhile. Send us an email at ladygodiver2@hotmail.com and we can discuss what might work. Adrianne and Dan

I do not have much information but I think there is a McGregor 65 that sails out of Pier 39 on short trips. Try calling Pier 39 they may be able to help. I also believe that there are at least 2 charter companies out of South Beach Marina. One is a large catamaran and the other is a medium size square rigger type.If you call the harbor master they may be of some help at 415 495-4911). There is/was the Hawaiian Cheftain out of Sausalito also (square rigger). If you call the Sausalito chamber of commerence they may be able to help. I'm sure there are others but ....... Sorry for the sparse information but this may give you a place to start looking.
