We are having a ball
The wife and I are now in central Canada, we have gone almost 1800 NM (in 4 months) and are currently docked at Campbellford Town on the Trent-Sevens. If you want pictures and a sailing update that I sent out about once a week and here in Canada we use the public WiFi (Version is to expensive) so it might be longer than 1 week, send me an e-mail requesting to be put on the e-mail. ***LKYusnret2@aol.com****. The only time constraint we have is to be in Chicago by Sept. 20, the 260 is not a good ice breaker. Everybody has been great on the trip and it is a new experience every day. we are now in the company of a couple we meet in Oswago NY that have a 26 ft displacement motor vessel (about the same hull speed) and crossed as a team Lake Ontario and thru Trent-Sevens Canal. Most people are interested in the problems we have had..... OK had to replace a relay on the A/C, replaced the refrigerator, and broke the rudder, all adventures. The o/b gets the tender care and has worked well pushing the boat at a cruising speed of around 5.5 to 6 KTS. We average about 35 to 45 NM a day when we are underway. John USNret
