First of all, Thanks to all for your tips and sugestions. It took us 9 hrs. from Deltavile, VA to Solomons island. The wind din't cooperate (there was none) so we motored at 6.5 kts. We left Solomons at 6:30 AM in a bank of fog (thanks GPS). Again no wind, I guess it was a perfect power boaters day. Later in the day the wind picked up and we got to sail for an hour. We made it to Castle Harbour Marina at 3:30 PM, after a couple detours on the way to look at dolphins, sea rays (the kids loved it) and having to wait 25 minutes for the Kent Narrows bridge to open. Thanks again Ozana Halik

That's the Bay

Glad you'all had a good run. Last week of June, first couple of weeks of July is (Sting) Ray mating season. During this time of the year you will frequently see groups of rays at the surface w/ the tips of their "wings" curled upwards; looking like bunches of shark fins swimming around. Its a happy time on the Bay (at least for the Rays)
