We made our trip. We went from Morrilton Arkansas to Rosedale Mississippi, (220 miles) Ther weather was great and even got to sail all of one day. We would have gone further but ran into problems with the steering. Most of the Arkansas and Miss rivers were in flood stage which made for a fast trip.
There were many state parks along the river that we stopped at night that made the trip most pleasant. People we met along the river also made the trip and were very helpful. They went out of their way to help get us gas, food and anything we needed. I can tell you that the Mississippi River got it's name (Mighty) for a good reason. It was a little intimidating. Some places it was more than a mile wide. We were 'rolling down the river". Very nice trip I would recomend it. Next, Memphis to New Orleans. I tried to post some pictures but it wouldn't work.
